When the first snow falls, the Tuxertal is transformed into a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts and those seeking peace and quiet. Located directly on the ski slopes, our Alpenjuwel chalets provide ideal access to the Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 ski area. Whether it's ski-in/ski-out, adventures on the slopes of the Hintertux Glacier or winter hikes through snow-covered forests - winter is at its best here.
Ski vacation right on the slopes
Out of the chalet and into skiing fun.
From breakfast straight onto the slopes - without a car, without detours. Your accommodation is located directly on the snow-covered valley run to the Eggalm and Rastkogel lifts. Enjoy early turns in the freshly groomed snow and direct access to the ski area.

Tobogganing
Whether as a family, as a couple or with friends - a toboggan run through snow-covered forests is great fun. Two perfectly groomed natural toboggan runs (3 to 5 km long) lead from rustic huts such as the Bichlalm or the Höllensteinhütte into the valley - even floodlit in the evening if desired or easily accessible by toboggan cab.
Ice skating & curling
The large natural ice rink in Lanersbach invites you to go ice skating from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. - winter fun for all ages. If you prefer something more traditional, you can compete on the four curling rinks.
Winter hiking & cross-country skiing
Tranquil winter forests, glistening snow and clear mountain air: romantic winter hikes start directly from the chalet - for example to the Eggalm or along the Tuxbach stream to Hintertux. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the 16 km of groomed trails: classic and skating
14 km of which are on the Luggi Gredler trail from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madsee
1.5 km of trails in Hintertux (ideal for technique training or a short lap).
Nature Ice Palace & Spannagel Cave
A very special adventure awaits you off-piste on the glacier: explore glittering ice crystals, frozen waterfalls and an underground glacial lake in the Natural Ice Palace. Or you can embark on a fascinating journey into the interior of the mountain in the Spannagel Cave - the highest show cave in Europe.
Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000
With 206 kilometres of slopes, 65 lifts and direct access to the Hintertux Glacier, the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 offers endless possibilities – from family-friendly runs on the Eggalm to adrenaline rushes in Penken Park or on the Harakiri slope. The Hintertux Glacier guarantees perfect conditions an altitude of up to 3,250 metres. With the Zillertal Super Ski Pass, you even have access to 530 kilometres of slopes throughout the entire region.
