Right past your comfortable vacation accommodations at Chalets Alpenjuwel, a picturesque hiking path winds up to the staffed Lattenalm. In less than an hour, you can reach the rustic alpine hut and enjoy delicious Tyrolean delicacies there. We recommend that you continue your hike from the Lattenalm to the Brandalm, which is located between meadows and forests. You will be welcomed here with mouth-watering homestyle cooking and a cozy atmosphere.   

Eggalm – heaven in the mountains

From your dream accommodations at Chalets Alpenjuwel, you can reach the valley station of the Eggalm lift in only a 5 minute drive, and in summer, the lift will take you to the Eggalm in only a few minutes. Once you have arrived on the mountain, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Zillertal and Tux Alps.
Attention all children! Around the summit station of the Eggalm lift, the ultimate adventure playground "Almspielerei" provides tons of fun and action high above the valley. 

In addition, the summit station at an elevation of 2,000 m is the perfect starting point for a variety of wonderful hikes. A real highlight is a mountain tour on the Toursee, which will delight you with its crystal-clear mountain water. 

The Tuxertal in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park

Awaiting you in your holiday region are 350 km of hiking paths and 150 km of Nordic walking routes. Located in the middle of the protected Zillertal Alps Nature Park, family-friendly walking paths and signposted high-altitude trails over lush alpine meadows and fragrant forests lead up into high alpine terrain, where crystal-clear mountain lakes, rugged gorges, and rushing mountain streams will captivate you. More than just people enjoy the special power that emanates from the nature park. The 422 m² Zillertal Alps Nature Park is also home to many rare plants and animals such as eagles, chamois, and ibex.
