Be the first to glide over the perfectly prepared slopes to the gondola in the early morning! Your cozy chalet is located right by the ski slope, which is equipped with snow machines. Without a long journey, an annoying search for a parking spot, and tiresomely lugging around your equipment, you can reach the valley stations of the Eggalm and Rastkogel lifts straight from your breakfast table without any detours.
Unlimited skiing enjoyment!
After a short valley run, you will reach the Eggalm lift, which will take you from Lanersbach to the family-friendly Eggalm skiing paradise, or you can ride the Rastkogel lift from Vorderlanersbach to the magnificent sunny plateau under the summit of the Rastkogel. The Rastkogel is not only an insider tip among ski toureres and freeriders but is also your direct access to the Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000.

The first-class ski region promises thrilling downhill runs on a total of 166 km of slopes and 66 modern lifts. Right from your chalet with only 1 ski pass, you can reach the Eggalm lifts, the Finkenberger Almbahnen, and the Penken, where the spectacular Penken Park and legendary Harakiri ski run await you.
Do you want to head even higher up? Awaiting you on the Hintertux Glacier, Austria's only year-round ski area, is pure skiing enjoyment 365 days a year at an elevation of 3,250 m.

Awaiting you 365 snow days a year on the Hintertux Glacier are 60 km of runs with guaranteed snow at elevations from 1,500 to 3,250 meters. At the foot of the 3,000 meter high summits, you can carve through the natural snow in any season and experience the ultimate kick of adrenaline in the perfectly prepared Betterpark Hintertux.
Nature's Ice Palace
Deep under the ski slopes, the world of the Nature's Ice Palace exudes a special magic. Ice stalactites, sparkling ice crystals, and a crystal-clear glacial lake can be explored on a guided tour in the glacial crevasse. The entrance to the Nature's Ice Palace is only a 3 minute walk from the summit station of the Gletscherbus 3.
Spannagel Cave
The Spannagel Cave, a natural monument, offers the unique opportunity to experience Europe's highest publicly accessible cave up-close with the whole family! With a length of 12.5 km, the Spannagel Cave is the largest rock cave in the Central Alps. As part of the 1-hour tour, you can explore the interior of the mountain and marvel at the power of sculptures formed by mountain water. On a cave trekking tour, you can dive deeper into the cave system.
From the Tuxer Fernerhaus, access to the cave is reachable in only a few minutes.

Tobogganing
Whether a romantic time for two, with friends, or with the whole family - on a fun toboggan ride, you can glide through the snow-covered winter landscape and enjoy tons of fun!
Even the climb up the mountain through the snowy forests of the Tuxertal is an unforgettable experience. The rustic huts with refreshments, the fast descents, the nature experience under the starry sky, and the breathtaking view of the majestic glaciers provide pure winter happiness!
The 4 km long toboggan run leads from the Höllensteinhütte at an elevation of 1,740 m back to Lanersbach. From the ruggedly romantic Grieralm at an elevation of 1,787 m, you can toboggan 5 km through the snow-covered nature paradise down to Juns, and a 3 km long toboggan run leads from the Bichlalm at an elevation of 1,695 m to Hintertux.
All 3 toboggan runs in the Tuxtertal are floodlit in the evening, and a ride up with the toboggan taxi is possible!
Ice skating
On the large natural ice skating rink in Lanersbach, big and little ice princesses and princes can glide and twirl over the frozen water. The 1,000 m² ice skating rink is open from 3 to 10 pm in the winter months and invites you experience the magic of winter on skates.
Traditional ice stock is a popular team sport in the Alpine region. On the 4 ice stock lanes in Lanersbach, boredom is never an option!
Winter hiking
Step by step, you will be enchanted by the splendid winter wonderland in the Tuxertal, and you can enjoy pure freedom! Right from your chalet, a romantic forest path leads through the snow-covered forest up to the Eggalm, or you can hike on a flat trail long the rushing Tuxbach river to Hintertux.
Cross-country skiing
Far from the drab everyday routine, you can glide through the snowy Alpine landscape with a classic or skating style of cross-country skiing and exercise almost all muscle groups in your body!
The 14 km long, classic style Luggi Gredler trail leads from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit. Awaiting you at the Höllensteinhütte is a new high alpine cross-country trail with a length of 2 km.
